    Rajarshi Shahu Maharaja, Khasesaheb Maharaja Pawar & Family, Shrimant Rajaram Maharaja, Shrimant Sayajirao Gaikwad Maharaja of Baroda, Guruvarya Baburaoji Jagtap, Bhaskarrao Jadhav, Appasaheb Jedhe, R.B. P.C.Patil, Shankarrao More V.D. Ghate, Prin. C.R. Tawde, Baburaoji Gholap, Baburaoji Sanas, Bapusaheb Parge, Karle Guruji, K.B. Babar, Vitthalrao Satav & others were reputed citizens of the country came together and tried their level best to bring up the society. The institution did not have its own land in the beginning. But due to the hardship and devotion of these members it was made possible. Each one tried his level best in the foundation of the society. This well-known Shri Shivaji Maratha Society has its contribution in spreading education in the state. It imparts education to common man of any strata of the society. Of course it was aided by the government. Among the educated from this society had started their own educational institutions in the various corners of the State. Many among them are holding great positions in different fields- of education, social medical, political, etc. When started there was a small school having only one room. But now it has turned into a big tree with lots of branches.

    It has developed its branches from K.G.to Post-graduation. It has Marathi medium schools from K.G. to post graduate level. This facility is available for both boys and girls.The institution has separate high schools for boys and girls. It has co-ed schools for K.G.. Junior and senior colleges are co-ed. Technical education is also imparted in these schools and colleges. It has recently started an English medium school from K.G. classes. Now it has its second class started this year. It will certainly grow up to post graduate level. The Society has also started Management from 2001. M.B.A. course with one division from 2001.It will surely come with many other management courses in future. The Management has planned to start an Ayurved Medical college, an Engineering college so on & so forth. For this purpose the Premise of Aranyeshwar is selected. Along with these branches the society has two training institutes- one is B.Ed. college and another is D.Ed. college. The institution has started Law college from 2000 It has developed Computer Lab and started MSCIT course for college students as well as outsiders The institution is going to start Nursing and Physiotherapy colleges from 2006. The Institution has made arrangement of lodging of the boys by building hostel is for them.

    To motivate people to play games a big Gymnasium Hall called Vitthalrao Satav Gymnasium Hall is built in the Aranyeshwar area. A big ground with 1200meter track is also developed in this area. The aim behind it is to supplement physical fitness with good education. In this way the Institution is working for mass community in various branches and rendering its devoted services to the society at large.
