As listed above Adhyapak Mahavidyalaya is one of the branches of Shri Shivaji Maratha Society. It is very lucky for the people to work in such an eminent society and also for the students to study in such a agreat institution.The Society has great aims of upltfment of downtrodden part of the society.The motto of the society is “ BAHUJANA HITAY, BAHUJAN SUKHAY.’; which means that the institution is established for the betterment and pleasure ot the masses. .It was established for the upliftment of the society on the basis of equality, liberty; and to bring about social changes through education. Hece an institution was established in 1970—it was Adhyapak Mahavidyalaya.

    It was the need of the time to bring about the changes in the educational system. The taechers in the rural areas were not trained. Some action had to be taken. To reduce this drawback of untrained teachers at secondary level in the rural area, this college was established in 1970. During this period to start a training college and to run it efficiently and effectively was a great task. Still the college was opened and was sucessfully run by the institution.

    The college is situated in beautiful natural surrounding of Aranyeshwar area. It is blessed by five dieties i. e. Shri Aranyeshwar, Padmavati, Dashabhuja Ganapati, Talajai and Parvati. It is also surrounded by small hills. It is a rare atmasphere found in the cities like Pune. Thus in 1970 this college was started in this pious and naturally healthy atmosphere. The place is calm and quiet and congenial for learing. The college was inagurated by the then Hon. Secretary Late Shri Vitthalraoji Satav on 15th June 1970 in the presence of other Honorable members of the society.

    Shri B. V. Bapat took charge of the college as the first Principal of the college.Shri Vani, Shri Bhagat, Smt. Vaze, Dr. Mhaske, Dr. Shivanekar, and Shri Kalhapure are his successors. At present Dr. Mrs. Tawde is working as a Principal of the college. B.Ed. course is conducted in this college.

The students taking admission in this college are coming from different parts of the State.They are giving popularity to the college, they are the conveyars of the motto of the society in different parts of the State. The graduates and/or post-graduates of different faculties i.e. Arts, Science, Commerce are given admission to the college for B.Ed. Degree. The admission is given on the basis of their marks at the degree level depending on their merit. Now the admission is centralised, hence it is given by the University. Generally the students seeking admission in this college are all meritorious.It is a co-ed college. Priviously the no. of the girls was less but now it nearly ,sometimes more than ,50%.

    When the college started the no. of the students was 100. But as per the policy of the Govt. now it is reduced to 80. The results of the college are all the time above 90%.

1. 1983- Miss Patil Pramila, First in the University-B.Ed.
2. 1997- Miss Jadhav Rupali, Second in the University.-B.Ed.
3. 1998- Shri Walunj Sudam, First in the University.
4. !999- Miss Kalhapure Archana, Second in the University.
The students after passing B.Ed. join the schools and start their carrier as teachers. Some of the students are honouring the chair of Heads. One of the students was awarded President Award for Best Teaccer, Her name is Mrs. Sangeeta Siddheshwar. The college is proud of this student. Some of the students have joined govt. office and are holding the position of educational officer. Some have joined this field in Zilla Parishad and some in Municipal Corporation.
The studens areworking under the eminent guidance of well experienced staff of the college.As B.Ed. is apractical oriented course, all the activities are carried out as per the plan. The practicing schools are very cooperative.Students take lessons in different schools. They complete their internship in these schools.From the beginning to the end all the students and the proffessors are bust in some activity or the other.
